Training on Institutional Economics applied to coordination in quality chains
The last training course on Institutional Economics within the framework of Malica training activities in 2007 will be held during 3 days, from 3rd to 5th December 2007 in Hanoi.
The training will deal with basic theory on institutional economics such as markets, plan, institutions, governance forms, measurement economics, etc. This knowledge will be clarified by some case studies in Vietnam on quality chains: pig meat, flavoured rice and safe vegetables. The organisation of quality control and the institutional arrangements will be shown in each value chain.
The lecture will be undertaken by two trainers from INRA (France). The training plans to receive around 20 participants from different member and partner institutions of Malica (CASRAD, RUDEC, FAVRI, HAU1, IAS, Thai Nguyen economics university).
